What’s everyone been up to……?  Getting to that time of the year when the mornings are chilly and the darkness is coming way to early!  We had a small Labor Day ride, 5 riders showed up for a nice 35-40 miler…..great weather and not to chilly at all.

This past weekend was the Treadfest, looks like a few nice results for the Flyers……Joe Gross from the Junior team to an age class win, Steve Davidson continued to hang in the top 5 of the sport singlespeed…..some nice work ot there!  About 8 of the Flyers hit the roads in Door County for the Door County Century…..it is our job to “patrol” the roads and make sure everyone stays in line and obeys the rules of the roads.  And they did…..we also made sure the rest stop food was ok for everyone to eat…..and it was

Up next for around 10 of us is the annual trip to the Northwoods…..time for the Chequamegon Fat Tire Fest……a classic fall point to point.  Race, PBR’s and a fire, drive back home with the Packers on the radio…..ahhh the traditions!

After that…..a couple of more WORS races……some Cross racing, and then the trek to Michigan for the Iceman.  That is a look at the next couple of months.  Ride on all!

Great day of racing on our home course…..thanks to all the Flyers who raced and volunteered……we rock!  Looking ahead to the Treadfest……go get em’!  Let’s have a strong push into fall and then of course Cross season!  Keep the wheels rolling!

Due to popular demand…..both the Main course and the Junior/first timers lap as well, see you all there!

The WORS train made a stop in the small town of Rockdale, WI……nice little town that seemed to really enjoy the WORS crew in town.

The course had some rocking and rolling singletrack along with some out in the open single path mowed to double wide but don’t pass rough terrain type of trail????  All in all it was a pretty decent course…..just wish I would have had two things….legs and my full boinger!

Nice job again to the Flyers……numbers still a touch low…..hopefully we get a few hardy souls over to the border battle in River Falls……cause you know the attendence goes thru the roof at the Ramble!  Hope to (or better) see all of the Flyers in some capacity at the Ramble…..if you are a Flyer you best be at the Ramble!

Hoping to do some trail clean up Saturday morning at the Camp on the race course…..join me around 830am Saturday morning for a loop on the race course to clean up all the debris and such on the course.

Sunday…..planning to take a couple of guys from work including jersey/logo designer Noah out for a morning lap on the course……again looking at 830am for a ride time…..all are welcome and encouraged to join us!

 Couple of shots from the 24 Hours of Wausau, Denise is back on the bike and Rob never got off?  Sounds like the Flyers in action had some nice podium success, very good work all!  I heard you all had a little weather issue, little delay but still finished things off solid after the delay…..nice work!

Up next is the new venue on the series, the Battle at Cam-Rock.  A decent looking course layout with a few venue set-up issues possible, lots of travel to the start from the parking area…..we shall see how it all plays out, nice to have a new venue every so often.

Wednesday night rides should start heating up again, with the race coming along and the course design coming soon…..time to ride the Ramble and create the home-course advantage!

Whoooooops!!!!!!  Been a little too long between posts, still here and still on the bike!  Updates coming, great job to all the last couple of races, been great to see the Flyers not only at the races but on the podiums as well!  Just waiting for the team standings to come out…..make sure to check the Unlimited Team Standings as well as the Junior Division, we have a Junior team this year!!!!!  Very excited to have a Junior team!

Up for some, 24 Hours of Wausau, have a good one and ride fast and be safe!

A small gallery from the past weekend, a great time at the Subaru Cup…..great course and great fans, great racing……good weekend on the bike with the Flyers!

We had a nice group camping at the Cup, big camping area and lots nice weather…..good fun!  Team turnout was slightly low as far as number of riders go…..too bad because it was a great course and some national coverage!  Hopefully we get a few more Flyers on the race course as the summer rolls on, with a team the size of the Flyers we should be seeing HUGE numbers…..we are ok but more and bigger is better right! 

Proud of the 10 Flyers that stuck around and helped out with the Kid’s race, good times on a cool course, and the Flyers made it happen in a fantastic way!  So thanks for helping out the 10 of you.

Trails at the Camp are a little soggy right now, so the County has closed a few sections to give them a chance to dry out and firm up before we re-open.  So if you are out there riding, please stay off the closed sections and we’ll be back in business asap!
